Vision

My vision for Corvallis revolves around three key factors: the economy, technology, and energy. These three components are essential for the growth and development of our community.

Firstly, let's talk about the economy. In order to thrive and prosper, we need to find ways to increase housing, decrease mental health issues, and boost wages. One way to achieve this is by developing products or services that we can sell outside of our county, bringing in much-needed revenue. While federal grants and incentives have helped us in the past, we can't rely on them forever. We need to think long-term and find sustainable solutions that will benefit our people for years to come.

Next, let's consider technology. We are living in a time where advancements in technology are happening at a rapid pace. Many of the ideas and initiatives I have for Corvallis are already in production and have been tested for safety and reliability. As technology continues to improve, so will the effectiveness of our plans. Embracing technology will allow us to innovate and create a better future for our community.

Lastly, energy is a crucial factor in any kind of growth or development. Having a dependable source of energy is essential for industry, building green materials, and overall sustainability. While windmills and solar panels are great options, they may not be enough to meet our energy needs. We need to explore other sources of energy that can provide us with a reliable and affordable supply without harming our environment.

In conclusion, my vision for Corvallis is one of growth, sustainability, and prosperity. By focusing on the economy, technology, and energy, we can create a thriving community that benefits all of its residents. Let's work together to make this vision a reality and build a brighter future for Corvallis.

I believe that nuclear energy can be a driving force for the growth and development of our county. We can create jobs, attract new industries, and increase our energy supply while also reducing energy costs for our residents. Our county has the potential to sell energy to neighboring counties, which could be a significant source of revenue. With OSU's nuclear school and local expertise, our county can become a leader in the nuclear industry. As County Commissioner, I will work to ensure that we explore all opportunities to leverage the benefits of nuclear energy for the growth and prosperity of our community.

As your County Commissioner, I am committed to ensuring that our county has a modern and robust electrical grid. Our plans include expanding the grid outwards from Benton County and increasing its power output. This will provide the necessary infrastructure for new industry and jobs in the energy sector, while also strengthening the local economy.

Imagine a County that leads the nation in sustainable transportation. As your Commissioner, I am committed to creating an E-Corridor for ground and air electrical vehicles. This initiative will support electrical commercial and private transportation, electrical aviation, and UAV door-to-door delivery. By attracting entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth, our county will become a model for integrating all forms of electrical transportation. Let's work together to create a brighter future for our community!
