Issues

My campaign for the County Commission is based on four principles: diversity in ideas, equity in representation, inclusion of all stakeholders, and trust through transparency. These principles represent my values and vision for the county. I believe it is important to be open to new ideas, provide fair representation to everyone, bring all stakeholders to the table, and build trust through honest and transparent communication. These four issues highlight the imortance of all four principles.

Poverty in corvallis oregon.jpg

As a County Commissioner candidate, I am deeply concerned about the economic health of our community. The statistics speak for themselves. Between 2002 and 2023, the number of people living in poverty rose from 10% to a staggering 18%. While the average wage increased 81% from 22K to 40K and the median household income rose 60% from 44K to 72K, inflation skyrocketed by 95%. Additionally, the average cost of housing has increased by 160%, while fuel costs have increased by 140%. The cost of food has also increased from 95% to 1000% depending on the item. With half of our citizens struggling financially, it's clear that something needs to be done.

Mental health problems corvallis oregon

I am running for County Commissioner to make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health issues. With our community facing significant challenges such as homelessness, economic stress, and drug addiction, it is more important than ever to take immediate action. As your County Commissioner, I will prioritize funding for mental health treatment and support services, and work with community organizations to tackle these complex issues. Together, we can build a brighter, healthier future for our county.

transparency, inclusion, all world views

Dr Keith Lembke for County Commissioner is committed to full transparency and inclusion in all aspects of the campaign. As a candidate, I believe in providing complete narratives on issues like the Coffin Butte fiasco and the Court House project. I encourage voters of all political affiliations, including conservatives, independents, non-affiliated, and libertarians, to speak up and express their views. I value your input and believe it's essential to have a comprehensive discussion about the ways we can improve the community. Together, we can create a more open, inclusive, and transparent government.
